Junior/Intermediate Reservoir Engineer

Junior Well Test Analyst

Job Description:
- Pressure transient analysis of well tests conducted on gas/oil/water wells.
- Provide comprehensive reports of well test analysis to clients.
- Submit well test reports to regulatory bodies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology.
- Up to 5 years of pressure transient analysis experience with a clear understanding of theory as well as practical knowledge.
- Good knowledge of completion techniques, production testing and wireline operations is an asset.
- Good knowledge of the F.A.S.T. WellTest™ software program or other well test analysis software is an asset.

Petroleum Technologist

Job Description:
- Prepare and submit various resource applications to the EUB. Types of applications can include commingling production, disposal, enhanced recovery, oilsands primary recovery, compulsory pooling, and the elimination of oil production restrictions via good production practice.
- Discuss applications with clients, EUB staff, and potentially affected parties such as land and mineral owners. You may need to provide them with additional information, discuss deficient applications, and assist with resolving issues or objections.
- Confer with colleagues and staff from other groups at Fekete in order to meet deadlines.
- Responsibilities while preparing the application include a reservoir evaluation, review and confirmation of land ownership for mineral and surface owners as well as the submission to the EUB.
- As part of the reservoir evaluation, you may be required to conduct a decline analysis, material balance analysis, and review pressure transient analysis and area pressures. This information will be gathered from public sources (EUB, GeoScout™, Accumap).
- Attendance at in house training as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Grade 12 diploma.
- Petroleum Engineering Technology Diploma from SAIT or NAIT.
- OR a recent Petroleum Engineering Degree graduate.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, listening and written.

- Excellent computer skills including the ability to operate MS OfficeTM at an intermediate level (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Petroleum Engineer/Petroleum Technologist

Quality Assurance Software Tester

- Develop and conduct rigorous systematic testing on software functionality.
- Identify and diagnose software problems.

Reservoir Engineer

Job Description:
- Reservoir engineering of a wide range of projects including conventional and tight gas, primary oil depletion, waterfloods, acid gas injection.
- Analytical determination of volumes-in-place and reservoir parameters.
- Construction of dynamic reservoir model.
- Numerical simulation including history matching and production forecast scenarios.
- Participation on research projects into shale gas, CO2 sequestration and gas hydrates.

- Accountable for ensuring the engineering work is value oriented for our clients, completed effectively and efficiently for integration with other disciplines, and is technically excellent.

Technical Sales Representative
