Unconventional Pressure Transient Analysis in F.A.S.T.
Welltest™

Who Should Attend: It is recommended that attendees have a minimum intermediate level of pressure transient analysis theory.

General Notes: For your convenience we have aligned the dates of our F.A.S.T. WellTest™ and Unconventional Pressure Transient Analysis in F.A.S.T. WellTest™ so they can be taken consecutively. Clients registering in two of these courses will receive a $100 discount.

1 Day Course. Basic Windows navigation skills are recommended prior to attending.

Course Description

Minifrac tests (DFIT tests) have become a valuable tool for establishing the initial reservoir pressure in tight sands and shale, and can also provide some insight pertaining to the rock properties. During this one-day workshop, participants will be exposed to techniques utilized for performing pre-closure and after-closure analysis of mini-frac falloff tests using F.A.S.T. WellTest™. Using real data, participants will follow along with the instructor to gain an understanding of the complete workflow from data preparation through analysis. Basic concepts will be explained throughout the workshop.
