Quick instructions on how to install, configure and use the License Manager and License Service to register software keys.

2. Fekete License Service (v2.11.13.4)

The Fekete License Service is a Windows service used for authenticating Fekete licenses. This utility should only be installed on a server. It runs via the License Manager.

3. Fekete License Manager (v2.11.13.4)

The Fekete License Manager is an utility used to configure, track, and manage all Fekete Software Licenses. This utility MUST be installed prior to installing a network license.

4. Workstation Install

After licenses are added via the License Manager, install FAST software on individual workstations. Use the Network tab on the License Wizard to connect to the License Service.

Installation Issues

FAST RTA Database Connection Tool:

This issue affects users who have installed the Database Connection Tool from the Software Installation DVD.

If you currently have FAST RTA™ connected to your production database(s), you need to install FeketeDBConnection. If you experience difficulties using the FekDBConnnection while importing HoursOn data into FAST RTA™, or if your HoursOn data is inconsistent with the data that is imported into FAST RTA™, please upgrade to the latest version of the FekDBConnection below.
