New Features
Interoperability with F.A.S.T. WellTest™; Production data, reservoir, and fluid properties contained within F.A.S.T. RTA™ or F.A.S.T. WellTest™ can be accessed by simply opening a file created by either program. Switching between production data analysis (RTA) and pressure transient analysis (WellTest) is quick and easy. Improve estimates of gas reserves and reservoir characteristics by combining production data analysis and pressure transient analysis. Note: Requires F.A.S.T. WellTest™ version 7 or higher.
History matching on rates as well as pressures in Analytical Models. Automatic parameter estimation using pressures, rates or both.
Enhanced Wellbore and Production Editor capabilities such as adjusting well flow path and pressure source through time, adjusting tubing size and depth through time, specifying liquid levels and fluid gradients through time, and a new warning system to identify potential pressure calculation errors.
Data reduction module that allows the user to reduce large data sets to a manageable size. It also enables separate filtering schemes for unlimited number of flow and shut-in periods.
Enhanced ASCII data importing capabilities such as the ability to import multiple spreadsheets or multiple worksheets from a single spreadsheet, and to import production data from multiple wells ( on single or multiple worksheets ) at one time.
Version 3.219 (February, 2007)
New Features
Security updates.
Multiple files can be merged without significant file bloat ( ie. merged files size should be sum of the individual file sizes).
Typecurve plots for Composite and Multi-Layer models are available for usage in the Reports Module.
Handling of duplicate entries in the Import Module is robust. Duplicate time entries are automatically removed and potential errors in the Wellbore Module are eliminated.
Multi-well checkbox errors resolved. Checkbox is immediately enabled upon assembling a new or modified grouping and any residual effects when analyzing the active well in a new grouping are removed.
Citrix issues are resolved. In previous version, RTA failed to load if Citrix was configured in an unusual way.
Version 3.202 (July, 2006)

Version 2.562 (June, 2004)
Known Issues/Fixes
Flowing Pressures are now handled correctly for IHS/Dwights files containing multiple wells.
GIS printouts show bubble legend.
Citrix operations are fully stable.
Wells with location information that are merged from another file will be displayed on GIS.
Lasser file imports are supported.
Version 2.555 (January, 2004)
Known Issues/Fixes
Results visualization is activated on Map page in Well Manager:
• Display calculated drainage areas from Blasingame typecurve analysis.
• Display permeability by colour.
• Recovery Factors can also be visualized.
Wellbore calculations are automatically undone when either a change is applied in the Production Editor, or when data is appended. REMEMBER TO RE-CALCULATE!
Blasingame Horizontal Well model no longer accepts “Ld” inputs lower than 3. (the Ld = 0.5 and Ld = 1 typecurves have been removed because of difficulties in yielding transient results).
File “save” on a multiple well file will automatically save back to the original file name when a new well is added (in previous version, the file save location would change when a new well was added, to the new well name).
Data displayed on the Models typecurve plot is the same as the selected data from the typecurve filter.
Tabular forecast data is available on the Forecast page.
Recovery Factor defaults to 80% for new gas wells and 20% for new oil wells.
Pressure axis now appears on Data Chart when a *.csv file is appended to an existing file that does not have pressures, without having to press the “nuke” button.
Truncation and “run-on” issues with the typecurve plot on the Models page have been eliminated.
Scaling on the Models typecurve plot defaults to a 1:1 log cycle ratio.
Version 2.507 (July, 2003)
New Features
Enhanced models layout includes typecurve
plot and semi-log plot in addition to
pressure history match.
Enhanced forecasting allows changing
flowing pressures and skin (xf) values
with time.
The user can now
view wells on a GIS map, output results
to database files, and perform multiple-well
(interference) analyses by grouping
wells directly inside the Well Manager
page. The user can also manage field,
reservoir and well data in a “tree” style
interface.
Pseudo-Steady-State Water-Drive model
allows the user to identify and analyse
reservoirs
under the active water drive using
geometry independent
matching parameters. When PSS
Water Drive is enabled, new, user-friendly
“slider bars” provide convenient
water drive analysis on Blasingame, AG,
NPI and FMB plots.
Combine flowing material balance and
P/Z analysis on a single plot.
Radial and Linear superposition
time options in addition to
Material-Balance-Time.
“Integral Anchor”

data is poor or missing.
Alternative derivative calculation
options.
Calculation of recovery
factors for gas.

editor enhancements.
Known Issues/Fixes
Requires
Windows 2000, Windows XP or higher.
It is no longer compatible with Windows
NT or Windows 98.
