Interoperability with FAST RTA

Production data, reservoir and fluid properties contained within F.A.S.T. RTA™ or F.A.S.T. WellTest™ can be accessed by simply opening a file created by either program.

 
Multi-Layer Model

Considers “unequal” initial layer pressures, deals with crossflow during pre-flow, drawdown and build-up periods, honours material balance by calculating individual pseudo-time for each reservoir layer, and accounts for hydrostatic pressure differences.

 
Anisotropic Model for Vertical Wells

Solves for horizontal permeability (kx, ky) in fully penetrating vertical wells and vertical permeability (kz) in partially penetrating vertical wells.

 
Closed Chamber Test Analysis

Based on PITA theory, it considers “instantaneous” decrease in wellbore storage to accommodate the effect of down-hole shut-in during drillstem tests and perforation inflow tests.

 
Material Balance Pseudo-Time for Dry CBM Reservoirs

Incorporates desorption compressibility in the total system compressibility. It has been implemented to allow access to all existing diagnostic analysis and models.

Pressure Transient Analysis
